I can see how he could get confused.

I would think it would be more likely that he would think James Polk was the Incredible Hulk. How the H does he know anything about James Polk? I don't even know anything about James Polk.
Yeah, i thought i had written a post about quade's fascination with James Polk but i can't find it...basically he got a set of cards from Chik-fil-a with presidents on them. after bruce read through them once, quade came up to me the next day and said "where's james polk? oh, there he is!" and he had correctly identified him. He continues to look for and find james polk when he sees presidents...thus the confusion with the incredible hulk.
Just like Quade to remember things no one else does. He doesn't miss a thing.
